Following previous years of sold-out success with their famous “Rock On!," shows, the troupe is combining this annual tradition with their 11th anniversary celebration to create a burlesque rock and roll spectacular that will make you feel the noize!
The original inspiration for this show came about when Jigglewatts founders Coco Lectric and Ruby Joule performed at the Montreal Burlesque Festival in 2011. Their host had a penchant for playing classic rock and the "Rock On!" show was born. “We want the show to feel like going to the best rock concert ever,” said Joule, “where each act makes you want to get out of your seat and make some noise!” The show will feature a full cast of Jigglewatts along with troupe co-founder Coco Lectric, a special appearance by Legend of Burlesque Ellion Ness, and emcee Eureka Smoke.
"Eye-popping glamour...a burlesque troupe with a racy show that's not to be missed," writes Steven Moser of the Austin Chronicle.
With the longest continuously running show in Texas, The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue has been entertaining audiences since 2006 with their re-imaginings of classic burlesque and original forays into the art of neo-burlesque. Members of the troupe have headlined around the world and feature classically trained dancers, vocalists, comedians and entertainers whose brand of burlesque has won them a string of standing ovations among male and female adult audiences of all ages.
